This is the most common spontaneous reaction when people see an ELSIES ring for the first time. More than half of world population lives in a city. In 2030 probably 1 on every 3 people live in an urban settlement. Although more and more feel attracted to connect with and be in nature.
The artist Elsbeth Baarslag is a goldsmith and has been creating commissioned jewellery for over 25 years. She finds her inspiration in shapes and structures in nature and in old and modern metropoles. ELSIES designs are organic creations in which nature and city shapes are combined. This led to powerful big, ornamented 3d printed rings.
